I wanted to share with Henrý some *unmixed* songs recently recorded by Líkn, one of the (few) bands Andrými is releasing for, and he proposed I post them on here -- I'd love to hear what people think and I hope the guys from the band don't shoot me for posting these since they're unmixed ;-)
They have just released their first CD, which is also named Líkn, it's available on iTunes, and in stores in Iceland soon, and of course when Andrými (whenever that will be) gets some distribution deals it will be available in some other countries physically, but before that we hope to open a webstore for the physical albums.
The first song is called Fuga, now this song gave me goosebumps several times while first listening, it even reminded me a little of radiohead (it might be just because I had been relistening to ok computer shortly before I got a first listen to this)..
The next song I'll share is called Into the sun, I think it still needs one more guitar track to be recorded, but after 1-2 listens it really grows on you... This song will also appear on Vardi's solo album "Death and Resurrection", which we should have gotten a final mix of from the engineer today, but if anyone is interested in hearing that version (which is less heavy) it's here
