    on my semi.

they sound nice, its a heavier gauge too

anyone have any experience with them? i honestly cant tell much of a difference in sound
maybe if i had something to compare it with but at the moment my strats out of commision

  2. They're chrome? You're not talking about guitar strings called Chromes, the flatwounds?

  3. yeah dude, sorry for the confusion

but yeah its what i meant, I actually thought they were chrome.
I mean I had my suspicions, seeing as how theyre not
    but still lol

thanks for that, so the only difference is that theyre flatwound?
i was told they had a warmer sound, I've yet to hear it

  4. They're thick, and really nice to play. I love mine, have them on my ES335 copy. Sound very "jazzy".

  5. Flatwounds don't have as bright of an 'edge' to the sound, so yeah, I guess they're 'warmer' sounding. They DO have a certain sound for sure.

  6. wow.....
so I was recording and I thought I was out of tune

and tuned up, i was off but not enough to really make a difference
I had it perfectly tuned up

but on the play back it sounded off!
I was getting mad, like really considering some serious malfunction in my guitar
    maybe it was horribly intonated...
but it only happened on the high E

.........then i remembered that the high E is a prosteel and the others are chromes
yeah theres a difference in tone.....
