So there are a couple of things I should probably explain.

Hot tags for one, since the concept is quite new. Tags are short strings, delimited by commas, you attribute to your post to identify them and make them more easy to find. Other sites that aggregate a site like this will use them to categorize the posts.

Lets say Breakfastime makes a post about himself recording new songs with The Ramifications, he could put "the ramifications, music, recording, new songs" in the tag box, and all those tags would be applied to it.

Also there is that section on the front page listing the tags. As tags get "hotter", the bigger the tag becomes in the list. When you click on a tag, you will see all the posts marked with that tag on the forum.

The posts can be formatted using the tags listed under "Allowed markup" below the editing box, the markup is in html. One of the tags allowed is a, which is for creating a link. F.eg:
<a href="http://andrymi.com/community/">Andrymi Forum</a>
would create this link: Andrymi Forum.

There are a few things I'm working on adding. One is media upload, so you guys can store pictures and songs here and link them from your posts. It might take a few weeks for me to iron it all out, but hopefully I'll get something done over the weekend.

There are no emoticons yet, we will probably have some, but I don't want to have some standard boring emoticons =). For now textbased emotions will have to do.

But I have high expectations for this place, since Steinn one of the best guy I've worked with in programming, and his brother Bergur is a wicked good graphics artist.

So stay tuned, and don't drop out. :-)
