No amps allowed! So I plugged the strat into an Alesis Quadraverb (to get some reverb and a little volume boost)and it helped a little.<br /> Unfortunately, i no longer own any good pre-amp type stuff-the SansAmp would've sure come in handy for instance-so the Q-verb had to suffice.</p> <p>Performance-wise, it was our weakest one yet. Mostly, people in airports are worn out from travel, pissed off from delays, and not really wanting to be entertained. but it's a paying gig, so that part was good.</p> <p>Also, airport security is just plain stupid. Terrorism is a scam. One guy tries (unsuccessfully) to ignite a bomb in his shoe...and seven years later, a million travelers a day are still being forced to remove their footwear? Stupid. Especially considering...they don't inspect ANY of the luggage that gets checked and loaded into the cargo bay of the plane. Stupid. </p> <p>I suppose if there had been an unsuccessful "underwear bomber" then we'd all have to remove our undies to be inspected?
