I keep feeling like I just started out...every time.</p> <p>The thing is...as a musician...you HAVE TO travel to the audience, no matter who you are. Just keep doing your thing, and let the audience find you (even if you have to go to them)</p> <p>Back in the early 80's, we played many a show with the Butthole Surfers. Sometimes as little as five people in the 'crowd'...sometimes as many as 30. Around that time, on a trip to California, my Cali friends wanted to go see the Buttholes play. It just does amp simulations, no extra effects or anything.
