So all posts you haven't read since I activated my plugin the first time are now marked as unread. The plugin detects them as "new" to you.</p> <p>New topics are marked in <strong>bold letters</strong>. As are topics containing unread posts.</p> <p>Topics containing unread posts, will further more link directly to the first of the new posts.</p> <p>There's no feature to mark everything as read/unread as I think that's kind of over-complicating what should be a simple feature for people to keep track of their posts.</p> <p>As soon as you've re-read (or reopened rather) all the topics you haven't read since I activated the plugin, this thing should start working as normal.</p> <p>Sorry for the inconvenience of actually beta-testing a new plugin on a live forum, but I didn't really have any choice since noone has made an acceptable plugin for this feature in bbPress yet. </p> http://andrymi.com/community/topic/tagging-unread-topics#post-170 Mon, 03 Sep 2007 20:46:01 +0000 henry 170@http://andrymi.com/community/ <p>Finally got home and managed to fix the cause of that error and re-enabled the plugin. It's quite possible I've messed up and there could be some teething problems.</p> <p>Hopefully I'll resolve them before the evening is over, or I'll disable it before going to bed. </p>
