Active in the icelandic music scene since '98, Varši is now completing the long awaited "Death & Resurrection" album alongside drummer Garšar, and bass player Gunna, scheduled for release early 2007, and available online. Their trademark is their simple yet haunting melodies, which bring to life the melancholic world full of sadness and wonder, in which Steini resides and invites you to join. Their latest EP is now being recorded w/ Steini on vocals, constant member Golden Boy on electric guitar, and as session players; Kristinn Įrnason on acoustic guitar, Erik Quick on drums, and Fabśla on piano. Scheduled for release early 2007. Lķkn Lķkn is a band, formed in 2003 by Hallvardur Asgeirsson(vocals, guitar, programming) and Brynjar Mar Ottósson(guitar and soundscapes). It has recorded one self titled album, in 2004, which is currently available on iTunes Music Store, released by Andrymi Records. The band blends rock songwriting, with avantgarde influences and improvisation. The duo were backed up by Georg Bjarnason and Birgir Baldursson formerly, but are now reunited with Jon Indridason on drums.
